How do Fellowship activities support my career goals?

The Fellowship is designed to help accelerate your climate career through learning, networking, and community support, and offers a number of resources for job seekers, including dedicated workshops, networking opportunities, support groups, and live sessions with professionals already working in climate.

  • Many of the guest experts that join every week are leaders of companies and organizations that are actively hiring. Many share information about open positions when joining our events.
  • Founders and early employees at climate startups and nonprofits are able to gather feedback and workshop new ideas and initiatives with Fellows familiar with their space.
  • Capstone Projects and thought leadership opportunities are designed around the goal of helping Fellows design and earn resume bullets aligned with their current career goals.
  • Job seekers are strongly encouraged to participate in career-focused spaces in our online community.

Our program is designed to provide support for a wide variety of career goals, whether someone is new to the field and learning about companies to apply to, or they are an expert in their field, excited to grow their impact as a mentor to others.

Community is at the core of the Fellowship - you will also have the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships through a variety of formats, such as networking sessions, 1-on-1 matching, professional interest groups, and more.

Overall, 98% of alumni say the Fellowship has helped them in achieving their goals. Fellows’ goals are diverse, and the Fellowship is designed to support these varied goals through both structure and flexibility.

“Before the Fellowship I had no luck in getting my job applications seen. But thanks to applying through the Fellowship organizations (presenters) I landed interviews with 3 companies and I got to choose which one to work for.” - Kristina Rosas (Garcia) Wohl, Cohort 7 Fellow
