How do Fellowship activities support my career goals?

The Fellowship is built to accelerate your climate career through learning, networking, and community support. Career support comes in a few forms:

• Career coaching curriculum. Our career coach leads a series of workshops developed over many cohorts, which cover crafting a career strategy, transferable skills, networking, LinkedIn, résumés and cover letters, interviews, and utilizing AI tools.
• Hiring events. We host events with employers who are actively hiring, with breakout rooms so you can learn what they're looking for and connect directly.
• Panels and fireside chats with climate professionals. Hear from people already working in climate across sectors and roles to demystify climate work.
• The community. The Fellowship provides a place to build your network, practice your professional pitch, discover and share opportunities, and find the support and accountability that a job search often needs.
• A boosted profile on the Climatebase jobs platform. As a Fellow, you receive a dedicated tag that helps you stand out: you appear at the top of applicant lists for roles you apply to and in our talent directory, where thousands of employers search for mission-driven, climate-literate talent.

Many of the guest experts who join us each week lead organizations that are hiring and often share open roles with the community. And the experience you build along the way — whether you work on a Capstone Project, present to the Fellowship community, or lead a session yourself — provides résumé-ready talking points aligned with your goals.
