Can I balance the Fellowship with a full-time job?
Yes — many Fellows are working professionals, and the Fellowship is designed to be flexible around your goals, interests, and schedule.
A few things make it work. Live sessions are held during core hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 1 PM Pacific Time), and every session is recorded and available on the community platform, so you can watch on your own time. You're free to join only the sessions most relevant to your goals, and plenty of networking and learning happens asynchronously through the community platform. Early- and late-day events also help accommodate Fellows across a range of time zones.
As for time: Fellows who reported making significant progress on their goals and forming meaningful connections spent, on average, 7+ hours per week, and those also working on a Capstone Project spent 8–10+ hours. You can choose the sessions and content that align with your goals, so your actual time commitment may be less or more than the averages noted above.
And, as a friendly reminder, you don’t have to fit everything into a single cohort. Your enrollment includes at least one year of membership in the Fellowship community, so you can return for a future cohort to continue working on your goals, or take on new goals, whenever the timing is right for you.
“I was able to tell my personal career story many times and really hone my focus. Without Climatebase and the opportunity to really explore and branch out, while leveraging my existing experience, it would have taken me years to get on the trajectory I feel I’m on now.” - Greg Pucillo, Cohort 7 Fellow
